After featuring different types of food in Kampar, this time Grub and Gulp will be heading to Ipoh!

Thean Chun Coffeeshop is popularly known as the "Hall of Mirrors" thanks to the mirrors lining up along the entire length of a wall. With over 50 years of history, the coffee shop used to be a barber shop and the mirrors are reminiscent of the past. It is currently run by their fourth generation.

There are a variety of food served here, but the one that we choose to recommend is the Egg caramel custard. This creme caramel is one of the trending desserts in Ipoh. This dessert is cold, smooth and not too sweet. It is so delicious that it can melt in your mouth. I strongly recommend everyone to pay Thean Chun coffeshop a visit as the caramel custard is probably the best that you can find in any coffee shop.

There are a lot of people that would choose Thean Chun coffeeshop as a place to eat breakfast especially during weekends and public holidays. Thean Chun coffee shop is always crowded with people especially in the morning so it is very hard to find a place to sit. It is best to come early if you want to avoid this situation.
